Sculpture of Dr. Charles R. Drew at Drew Charter School in Atlanta
On February 25, 2016, Omega brothers from around the city joined members of the Atlanta community at the Drew Charter School for the dedication of a bronze sculpture of the school’s namesake, Dr. Charles R. Drew. The sculpture stands at the entrance to the Drew Charter Junior and Senior Academy campus.
In 2014, Eta Omega Chapter, along with Omega International Headquarters and the Eta Omega Foundation, joined the fundraising campaign to produce the sculpture. We were happy to assist in the effort to honor Dr. Drew, an Omega Man who contributed so much to our society through science and medicine.
