Volunteers are requested to arrive by 9am Saturday morning to check in, perform temperature checks, and receive basic PPE from the City of South Fulton staff. Once the toy distribution starts at 10am, Brothers will work in teams (about 5 per tent) to place the toys in the vehicles. Driver’s will not get out of their vehicle. Volunteers will be asked to place toys in the trunk or backseat of the vehicles.
1. Event location & Parking:
Our activity will take place at Welcome All Park & Multipurpose Facility located at 4255 Will Lee Road, South Fulton, GA. Parking is available in lots beside the the park and on the street along Will Lee Road. Please park in those locations.
2. Arrival Time:
Volunteers are asked to arrive at Welcome All Park Recreation Center by 9 AM. There will be a pre-screening health check, volunteer briefing and welcome which will begin shortly after that time.
3. Check-In Procedures:
Upon arrival at Welcome All Park, volunteers will check in with City of South Fulton staff. Your temperature will be taken. If your temperature is deemed “high,” you will not be able to participate in this service event.
South Fulton staff will also issue PPE (mask and gloves) for use. All volunteers will be required to wear PPE; no exceptions.
4. Volunteer Activities:
As a volunteer, you will be asked to assist with a number of activities; possibly including bagging toys, setting up toy distribution tables, placing toys in cars and related activities. Direction will be provided by City of South Fulton staff. Please note that you will have an opportunity to take breaks as needed. Your health and safety are our top priorities.
Please wear your ‘nalia (no dog references, please). Comfortable and cold / cool weather appropriate attire is recommended.
