Brothers of Eta Omega Chapter gave a helping hand at a Community Empowerment Fair held at Dunbar Elementary School in Atlanta’s Mechanicsville neighborhood.
The event, organized by school administrators, featured workshops and seminars on a range of topics including the expungement of criminal records, career education and training, and financial literacy. Resource personnel from nearly two dozen agencies, companies, and organizations provided handouts and information to more than a hundred attendees. In addition to serving as monitors, Brothers staffed a Voter Registration table asking every passerby about their voter status. Five new voters completed their applications as a result of that effort.
